8 great tips to avoid problems while traveling

One of the best travel destinations is to try and taste all kinds of new and delicious dishes, whether you are traveling across the country or flying around the world. But we all know that we feel too many times in a row: complete lack of energy, bloating, dehydration, headaches or hangovers, a pronounced backlog, increased sensitivity to becoming ill. All of these things can really interfere with maximum travel pleasure. And if you are someone with dietary restrictions, you know that frustration is trying to find good food that will be good for you!

The great news is that it’s easier than ever to make the kinds of foods that will make you healthy and stressful when you are away from your usual routine. Here are some easy ways to eat great when you take in the best moments of your trip:

  1. Plan ahead. Often, when we travel, we fail and do not eat regularly. Sometimes we can go for hours without eating anything.

    Contrary to popular belief that you should give up food to “save space” for a great meal, prolonged portions without food actually slow down your metabolism and make your body become sluggish and tired and stick to calories. Our bodies experience these periods as “mini-starvation” and send our brains into panic mode. To maintain blood sugar stability and avoid energy leakage (which can lead to excessive compensation for high levels of sugar or fried foods), aim to eat a little every couple of hours while in transit and, if you are not already going, in the form of products. which are nutritious and high in protein. Plus, many co-ops also have pastries in which you can get delicious sandwiches, salads or compresses that you can bring with you throughout the day.

  3. Your mom was right: take herbs and take vitamins. When traveling, your immune system is exposed to many new pathogens, especially in airplanes and other mass transits. You want to make sure that your body has what it needs to stay healthy and fight germs and process toxins. Don’t forget to pack multi-vitamin and other supplements! If you can’t get ready access to fresh greens, consider getting some crushed greens that you can bring with you and easily mix into a glass of water or morning smoothies.

  4. Speaking of morning cocktails … if you are really committed to the daily consumption of fruits and vegetables, you can even think about bringing along a travel blender. It may seem extreme to some, but keep in mind that most do not exceed $ 20, easily fit into a suitcase or the back of a car, and it can be a quick business to make a powerful breakfast of fruits, nuts and vegetables that will last you all morning.
